The Saudi Society for Healthcare Ethics is the first professional ethic-related society to be acknowledged and endorsed by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialities. All members are expected to abide by its bylaws.

Here are the types, benefits, and duties of membership.

Full Membership

Eligibility:

  1. Healthcare professional based in Saudi Arabia
  2. Registration in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialities
  3. All members are expected to abide by the society’s bylaws.
  4. Pay the due fees of ( SAR 200)

Benefits:

  1. Access to the activities that may not be open to public
  2. Reduced registration fees for paid activities
  3. Reduced subscription fees for the society’s journal
  4. Reduced submission fees for manuscripts submitted to the journal
  5. Extended early bird registration dates

Affiliate and Student Membership

Eligibility:

  1. Healthcare professional inside or outside Saudi Arabia
  2. Registration in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialities is preferable but not required
  3. Students should provide a proof of studentship (e.g. University ID card, valid registration letter, etc.)
  4. All members are expected to abide by the society’s bylaws.
  5. Pay the due fees of ( SAR 150)

Benefits:

  1. Access to all public activities
  2. Access to CME hours-accredited activities
  3. Access to ethics consultants and consultations
  4. Students are eligible to apply for reduced submission fees for manuscripts submitted to the journal

Honorary Membership:

This membership is by invited nomination only. It is given to those of significant contribution to the field of bioethics as experts, consultants, publishers, translators, or donors. In the form below, we encourage you to nominate up to 3 experts for this membership. Upon approval by the Board, s/he will be entitled to this membership.
